For Modeling, Etiquette and Talent Inc.
The mission behind our work is to support the human creativity and concern for others that in turn leads to the best service possible. We believe that all human beings are of equal worth; and we are committed to providing an atmosphere of empowerment, trust, and respect that reflects that belief.
In practice, this philosophy translates into encouraging, assisting, supporting, educating, and providing enrichment activities that foster positive work habits leading to academic success.
M.E.T. assists participants in excelling their potential talent. Each program is designed to enrich important life skills such as etiquette, social skills and performing arts. We are dedicated as service providers to incorporate ways which foster independence, decision making and develop leadership skills.
M.E.T. will take the challenge in our community to uplift and mentor individuals for their future success. In addition to this we will offer a mentoring program for single parents, teaching values of homeownership, financial literacy, and assistance in parenting skills, M.E.T. strongly feels this will be an asset to the disadvantaged residence in our community.
In conjunction to these challenges M.E.T would like to assist families of incarcerated individuals. In conducting support group meetings, be a resource in clothing, shelter and transportation providing a way for visitation of incarcerated loved ones. In addition provide assistance for special occasions, holiday gifts school supplies and bereavement. These families are often left without because of the situation they where not asked to become a part of. These programs/services offer guidance as a life skills readiness program for the incarcerated family member, to give them assistance on a positive road during their transitional period upon release with Employment and Education.
These programs are much needed and our belief is that family togetherness does matter.
